Module 1
Exploring 6 and 12-fold symmetry. Classic proportioning rectangles, isometric layouts, tessellation and common rosette designs. Starting from the simplest the designs the module will build in complexity, focusing upon historical designs from Morocco, Andalucia, Anatolia and Egypt. The module comprises 5 classes with approximately 13 hours of class videos, together with supporting PDF e-booklets, detailing the stages of the patterns created, alongside historical contextual material.
