In Autumn 2024 Art of Islamic Pattern will be running a four-day workshop in Granada, Spain looking at patterns from the Nasrid Palaces of the Alhambra. The programme will include practical classes in geometry and biomorphic design plus guided tours and lectures with local specialists, and a class in traditional Moorish Leather work with a local skilled practitioner. Most classes will take place in the Centro Cultural de la Mezquita de Granada, at the top of the Albaicin on the hill facing the Alhambra within the beautiful cobbled streets of the medieval Moorish district, a world heritage site.

There is a 10% discount when registering for this course in combination with the Cordoba Study Trip taking place the week prior. The two Andaluz study trips are based on local sources and have different, but complementary content.
