Module 2
Exploring 4 and 8-fold symmetry. Starting from the simplest designs the module builds in complexity, focusing upon the ‘zillij’ language of geometric designs, most closely associated historically with the Maghreb. The module comprises 5 classes with approximately 13 hours of class videos, together with supporting PDF e-booklets, detailing the stages of the patterns created, alongside images of the patterns within their historical context.
