All classes differ from those taught in New York the previous week. Both sets of complimentary sessions can be attended without duplication.

DAY 1
19th July 2025
Geometric Islamic Pattern
9.30am – 11:30pm $55
Using the traditional tools of compass and straight edge we will create a beautiful rosette.
Moroccan Patterns
1 – 3pm $55
We will construct classical zelij geometric rosettes from Fez and Marrakech.
Persian Patterns
4 – 6pm $55
We will draw this famous radial pattern from The Jāmeh Mosque of Yazd.
DAY 2
20th July 2025
Moroccan stucco Patterns
9.30am – 11:30pm $55
Learn how to draw this biomorphic stucco 8 fold rosette from the Bou Inania Madrasa (1356) Fez Morocco.
Arabesque Patterns
1 – 3pm $55
Create a beautiful 6 fold ‘Rumi/Islimi pattern’ from Kerman & learn about the ‘Rumi’ family of biomorphic motifs.
Geometric Persian Patterns
4 – 6pm $55
This session will focus on building patterns from medieval Persia and 5&10-fold symmetry.
