Plaster Carving

Join us in store for a tactile introduction to three-dimensional ornament through hand-carved plaster. You will learn how to transfer a design onto a prepared plaster block and carve it in
relief using traditional tools.
The session explores light, shadow, and depth, referencing carved surface traditions found across architectural history and resonant with Liberty’s decorative language.
All materials and tools are provided, and each participant will complete and take home a carved plaster panel.
Wood Marquetry Inlay

Join us in store for an introduction to the refined craft of wood marquetry, where decorative veneers are cut and assembled into a small ornamental panel.
You will learn the fundamentals of pattern layout, veneer cutting, composition, and assembly, producing a finished inlay artwork inspired by historic ornamental design to sit around an LBTY Candle.
Due to the nature of the process, pieces will be clamped after the session to ensure a secure bond before collection.
Price inclusive of all veneers, tools, adhesives, materials and an LBTY Candle.
Open to all abilities.
