2 workshops, at 2 locations in Monterrey, Mexico.
The classes will begin with a meditation and body alignment before drawing a different sacred pattern each day.
Casa Semilla
On the Saturday we will draw the Radiant Shamsah pattern that adorns the Lotfallah dome in Isfahan. The drawing process will be undertaken with the traditional tools, the compass and straight edge. The belly shaped cupola (dome) is adorned with 288 shamsahs or ‘little suns’ which when counted with the central rosette = 289 which is the Abjad (sacred numerological) value of Al Rahim (the Merciful) which has root connections to the word ‘womb’. The Lotfallah, a sacred space was used exclusively by females. ‘Lotf’ relates to ‘gentleness’.

Oum Wellness Center
On the Saturday work with the golden proportion, the fibonacci sequence and fractal geometry and how it manifests in nature.
We draw a pentagonal net, a logarithmic gold spiral and then build a dodecahedron.
Geometry occurs in the art and culture throughout human history, directly inspired from within the rhythms and structures of life itself. Its principles are beyond time and place.
In this workshop participants will be investigating sacred principles of symmetry and tessellation as exhibited in the world of nature.
These universal principles govern growth and structure and are found in both crystalline and botanical nature.
