Each study trip is a pilgrimage through beauty — from the tranquil courtyards of the Alhambra, to the carved wood and shimmering zellij of Fez and Marrakesh, the golden light of Cairo, the turquoise domes of Samarkand, and the sunlit sanctuaries of AthensDelhi, and Mexico City.

We hold our drawing classes in extraordinary settings, often drawing al fresco in ancient courtyards, gardens, mosques, and palaces where history still breathes through every arch and ornament. Along the way, we visit the workshops of local craftspeople, learning directly from master artisans who continue centuries-old traditions of design and making.

Each trip includes hands-on craft workshops in woodwork, leatherwork, zellij mosaic, ceramics, painting, and stone carving, alongside expert-led tours of sacred and historical sites guided by local specialists who bring each monument’s story to life.

These carefully tailored experiences are more than travel; they are a way to interact with the location, its people, and its past, connecting art, place, and culture in a living dialogue.

Our participants come from all corners of the world, of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience — from complete beginners to practising artists. All nationalities and faiths are warmly welcome.

What unites everyone is a shared love of pattern — a fascination with the harmony of geometry and the beauty that transcends borders. These journeys not only nurture creativity but also forge lasting friendships and a global community, bound by curiosity, beauty, and a shared sense of wonder.

We’re now preparing to travel to Uzbekistan and India — two luminous destinations rich in artistry, heritage, and inspiration.
